As expected it was a quiet January for actual music releases.
But the number has ramped up this week as the industry begins the 2024 wave.
Kali Uchis dropped her new fourth studio album Orquídeas, on January, 12th. The Latin & R&B styles rain heavily in a modern mix of pop & electronic sounds. This is Uchis' second Spanish project.
On the same day, Kid Cudi returned with his ninth studio album through Republic Records & Wicked Awesome Records. The project featured artists such as Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, ASAP Rocky, Pharell Williams, Lil Yachty, & Young Thug.
The mainstream pop/punk band Green Day released its album, Saviors . This was the first album release from the band in four years.
Trumpeter & songwriter Keyon Harrold highlighted the January 19th album releases with his new album, Foreverland. Harrold has played on numerous tracks for artists such as JAY-Z, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Anthony Hamilton, Mac Miller & more.

The Psychedelic Rock Trio from Houston, Khruangbin, has new music released as of the 19th. The New Single, A Love International, is an instrumental track off the upcoming album A LA SALA.
The Reggae-Pop band Magic! is releasing new music. The track titled A Good Feeling About You dropped on Jan. 19th, & combines reggae elements with ambient pop.
Declan Mckenna is back with an alt single MulHolland's Dinner & Wine, from his album What Happened to the Beach? While the folk-rock band Mumford & Son's new song Good People is out now. Breaking from tradition, this song is produced by famed artist & producer Pharrell.
