Famed music publication Pitchfork is merging with GQ Magazine. Parent company Condè Nast's chief content operator released a memo earlier this week.
Pitchfork was a key resource for finding new music in the 2000s & early 10s before the true emergence of streaming platforms & online playlisting. Especially important in the early 00s when blogging really started to take off and thrive before the integration of Twitter.
